Encroachment Permit Approval and Inspections

All work in or blockage of the City's right-of-way requires an encroachment permit. Applications for encroachment permits are available below or may be obtained at the Noblesville Street Department, 1575 Pleasant St., Noblesville, IN 46060. Applications must be submitted on the approved form or online and are subject to a five (5) working day review period. There is a $500 penalty fee with a stop work order for any work performed before the permit has been approved. Emergency encroachment permits are to be filled out on site by a city representative and the permittee in order to be valid.
