Project Description
Project will construct a roundabout at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Mercantile Boulevard. The north leg of the intersection will be a drive approach into Kahlo Jeep/Dodge dealership. A right-turn only lane will be constructed for eastbound traffic, similar to the current configuration. Lighting and pedestrian facilities will also be constructed as part of this project.
During construction, the intersection will remain open to traffic. However, traffic control changes will occur in three distinct phases, each lasting approximately 15 days. During the initial phase of construction, a temporary driveway will be constructed for Kahlo, east of its current location. Weather permitting, the roundabout will be substantially completed within 45 days. Please use caution while travelling in this area during construction.
