February 20, 2104......The City of Noblesville has announced details for three important upcoming road projects in the city. The first project is a partnership between the city, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), and the Hoosier Heritage Port Authority. It will consist of replacing the railroad tracks on a portion of 8^th Street from just south of the intersection of 8^th Street and Conner Street/State Road 32 to just north of the intersection of 8^th Street and Logan Street. The railroad tracks will be taken up so that the concrete pads can be removed and replaced, and then new tracks will be installed. Important information to know about this project includes:

• The intersection of 8^th and Conner/SR 32 as well as the portion of 8^th Street that is located immediately in front of the Judicial Center are scheduled to be closed from Saturday, March 29^th until Sunday, April 13^th.       Please note that the intersection of 8^th Street and Logan Street will remain open during this time.
• The intersection of 8^th Street and Logan Street as well as the portion of 8^th Street that is located immediately in front of the Judicial Center are scheduled to be closed from Monday, April 14^th until Sunday, April 27^th.       The intersection of 8^th and Conner/SR 32 will remain open during this time.
• An important note: If construction progresses more quickly than anticipated and the 8^th and Conner/SR 32 intersection is finished prior to its scheduled open date of Sunday, April 13^th, then that intersection will reopen and the intersection of 8^th and Logan will close prior to its scheduled closure on Monday, April 14^th.       Similarly, if the construction at 8^th and Logan is completed sooner than its scheduled reopen date of Sunday, April 27^th, then it will reopen once construction is completed.

The second upcoming project will be a city project to resurface 8^th Street between Walnut Street and Wayne Street. This project is scheduled to begin in mid-May and will take approximately two weeks to complete. No intersections will be closed during this time.

The third upcoming project is an INDOT project which will consist of resurfacing Conner Street/State Road 32 between Hague Road and State Road 37. This project is scheduled to begin in early June and is expected to take approximately 30 days to complete. While there will be temporary lane closures periodically during the project, INDOT does not anticipate any complete closures of Conner Street/SR 32.
