The city is actively preparing for a spectacular 2020 Noblesville Fireworks Festival and has announced details for the free events taking place on Saturday, July 4 – beginning at 4:30 p.m. with the Stars & Stripes Forever Parade through Downtown Noblesville.

The event’s planning committee is coordinating with the city’s leadership and health officials throughout the reopening stages to ensure a safe event for the public. The event is contingent on Governor Eric Holcomb’s Back on Track plan, which may change the city’s plans prior to the festival.

“We are optimistically continuing to make preparations for the Noblesville Fourth of July Fireworks Festival and Parade. Our hope is that we can host our annual festival and celebrate together as a community,” Mayor Chris Jensen said. “The event’s offerings may be a little different this year as we make changes to follow CDC guidelines and best practices from health officials, but our committee is developing some creative ideas to balance safety and recreational goals.”

The festivities kick off with the annual Stars & Stripes Forever Fourth of July Parade at 4:30 p.m. This year’s grand marshals will be frontline heroes. Registration to participate in the parade is $25 (nonprofits are not charged) and entries must be submitted by June 29. Forms are available here.

The free Fireworks Festival, presented by IDI Composites International, Inc. will take place at Forest Park from 6 to 10 p.m. The event will include traditional park amenities such as playgrounds, shelters and shade; along with festival items. Fireworks will begin at 10 p.m.

“The Fourth of July has always been my favorite holiday, which is why I am so excited for the celebration in Forest Park,” said Julie Jensen, Noblesville’s First Lady and a member of the planning committee. “This year’s festival will feature some new activities and events such as a concert by Boy Band Review.”

In addition to all the events planned, Forest Park will also be featuring a new VIP section where families and friends can purchase tables for the evening. These tables offer up-close seating to the live music performance, an exceptional view of the fireworks, and a great meeting place to safely gather and eat in between activities.

VIP table groups may bring in their own food and drink, participate in a table-decorating contest, and get access to separate VIP restroom options. This new area expands the festival’s seating and viewing opportunities. Tables seat eight people and cost $100. To reserve your table, click here or call 317-776-6350. Funds received for VIP section accommodations help defray costs of hosting the community event.

More announcements about the upcoming Fourth of July festivities will be released soon. For more information about sponsoring or donating to the holiday activities, contact Robert Herrington at 317-776-6324.
