PROJECT: State Road 38 and Oakmont/Whitcomb Ridge Roundabout

TIMELINE: Construction will resume on April 1, 2024 with the roundabout expected to be completed by Labor Day in the fall.

PROJECT GOALS: Increased safety and mobility of the corridor.

OWNER: This is a joint project between the Indiana Department of Transportation and the City of Noblesville.

ENGINEER: Beam, Longest & Neff

CONTRACTOR: Rieth-Riley Construction

SCOPE: The entrances of Whitcomb Ridge and Oakmont subdivisions will have a roundabout installed where there is currently just turn lanes.

  • A temporary signal will be installed at the intersection of State Road 32 and Oakmont Drive for 75 days during the closure of Oakmont Drive at State Road 38.

MILEAGE: 0.2 miles

ESTIMATED COST: $2.6 million

  • This is a matching partnership between INDOT and the City of Noblesville.
