PROJECT: Boden Road & 156th Street Roundabout

TIMELINE: Utility work in 2021, road construction in 2022. The project opened to traffic on August 1, 2022.

PROJECT GOALS: Increased safety and mobility of the corridor. Construction of the new Deer Creek Elementary (Hamilton Southeastern Schools) on northwest corner of the intersection will open for the 2022-23 school year.

CONTRACTOR: E&B Paving

SCOPE: A 2-lane roundabout at the intersection of Boden Road and 156th Street will replace the 2-way stop. The intersection is part of a comprehensive design for upgrades to Boden Road from Greenfield Avenue to SR 38. When all of the upgrades are complete, this will construct Boden Road to 4 lanes with a median, including trails on both sides of the road.

ESTIMATED COST: $4.5 million
