PROJECT: State Road 32/38 Road and Signal (INDOT)

TIMELINE: Construction is scheduled for 2024.

PROJECT GOALS: Increased safety and mobility of the corridor.

SCOPE: Traffic signals will be replaced at State Road 19 and 8th, 9th and 10th streets. INDOT’s road reconstruction from 8th to 16th streets will be merged with this project. Intersection closures and Downtown area closures are being coordinated to minimize impact.

MILEAGE: 0.75 miles

ESTIMATED COST: The City must pay for the decorative poles, estimated at $350,000.
